Someday in 2040

I got up earlier than my usual time. The Sun was still not up as I looked through the window. At least the Sun still rises in the east, i mused. Seeing the real Sun was still very beautiful, I thought.

My brain chip was still booting, usually my alter brain wakes me up. After a long time, my master brain woke me.

It’s soon time for an upgrade. Some of my colleagues got the brain chip 695, way better than mine.

I was still glad that I don’t need to keep any obvious facts in my main brain but 695 can process visual information way better and predict things which my 590 can’t even think of. People had to remember all these facts once upon a time, that was so difficult for a quantum based human brain.

I decided to talk in Chinese today for a change but my wife hates that when I do that. There was a time when people used to fight about languages and die.

Now any of those thousands of languages can be spoken even using a person with chip 100. It’s 10th year already since Countries announced there won’t be any longer a national language. Time flies.

My kitchen robot has anticipated my getting up and had my chai ready. Thank you I said for a change, Robot was not anticipating that.

I still yearn for the days before the year 2019, when we could meet real humans not these machines. I don’t know, there is still some unproven energy with humans and I still miss that after 21 years, every single day.

As I went for a virtual dive with sharks, I heard the sharks still making same sounds they have always been making to communicate. Humans also started with similar sounds at some point of time to communicate, I smiled to myself, so did my chip 590.
